Support
Hexdex requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
Camera access
Hexdex needs camera access to sample a color. Camera permission can be changed in iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security, then Camera.
Save to Photos
Saving an export requires permission to add images to Photos. If access was denied, open iPhone Settings, select Hexdex and allow Photos access.
Local data
The notebook is stored on the iPhone. Hexdex has no account or remote recovery service. Device backups are controlled through the owner’s Apple settings.
Export
Hexdex can create images and data files. The receiving app or destination controls the exported copy after it leaves Hexdex.
Color accuracy
Camera samples change with lighting, camera hardware and display conditions. Treat saved values as practical visual references.
